This is the question that we are often led to ask during our coaching sessions. Through your darkest moments, where do you go? What do you do? Who do you reach out to?
Sit with this for a moment and ask yourself this question.
At Spiritual Foundation Coaching, we know what happens when we depend on only ourselves or on others during the darkest moments… it usually doesn’t work out.

Biblical Teaching (TRUTH)
What is the Bible? A beautiful, complex yet simple story of God’s love pursuing after us. Through His Word, He speaks, connects with us, delivers us, and refines us. It may difficult to understand the Word and we may not always feel God’s presence while we read, but the Word brings life.
If you are new to reading the Bible, amazing! Do not doubt what the Lord can do even now. We recommend reading Bible versions such as NIV, ESV, & NLT, starting the one of these books: Matthew, Mark, Luke, or John (as they are specifically about the life of Jesus Christ on earth)
If you are looking to dive deeper into the Bible, versions as TPT & MSG are also amazing to soak in with Jesus.
Who is God? God is love (1 John 4). God is not angry or One who brings shame/ guilt. He brings freedom, joy, and peace. He is love. God is our Creator. He is the Maker of all things. He is perfect and Holy. He is our Savior. God is Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. He is the One who transforms. He is with you!

I Cry Out
Lord, I thank You for hearing me in my hour of need. I thank You for suffering so I can truly live and live with You. I cry out to You, my God. I need help. I put my trust in You. My life is in Your hands. Amen.

You are worthy beyond my words, Adonai. But I still thank You and praise You. You parted oceans and difficult circumstances in my life. You stilled the raging in me, and now I can sing Your praises. Hallelujah! Amen.

Confusion
I don't understand anything right now, God. I know I need You but I don't know how to walk with You. I hear things about You, receive it sometimes, but I feel so stuck. I just want to be honest with You and myself. I want to seek You and praise You. Show me the way. I surrender my confusion, these constant thoughts in my head I don't want anymore. I surrender to You, my Lord and Savior. Amen.

New Life I Choose
Jesus, I confess and admit I have fallen away. I repent. I turn away from those ways, I don't want to run away from You and this life anymore. I just want You. I want to want You, Lord! I know You forgive me, You always do. I forgive myself, because You forgive me first. Help me to live a new life now. I choose You. I choose to live in Your blessing and I surrender my life to You in Jesus Name. I will follow You forever and always, Amen!
